Liverpool University searching for headshakers

The Philip Leverhulme Equine Hospital at the University of Liverpool is currently undertaking an experiment to try to alleviate the symptoms of headshaking.

The trial involves feeding a natural supplement and a placebo to a horse/pony who suffers from headshaking.

A technician from the university will video the horse’s behaviour before, during and after the trial, which will run over the summer.
