Jane Holderness-Roddam is Side Saddle Association patron

  • Jane Holderness-Roddam has been appointed the new patron of the Side Saddle Association (SSA).

Mrs Holderness-Roddam was the first British woman to ride in an Olympic three-day event in Mexico in 1968 where she won team gold. She owns West Kington Stud in Wiltshire.

Mrs Holderness-Roddam said: “It is a great honour to have been asked. I started riding side-saddle when I was three years old. As an SSA member for most of my life I’m very much looking forward to the role and meeting other members.”
