Information needed for Database safety research

  • The National Equestrian Database is to conduct further research into protective headgear and other safety standards.

The organisation is appealing to anyone injured in a horse-related accident severely enough to be taken to hospital to complete the TRL accident and injury report forms.

The NED is hoping to use the information provided in the forms to review safety standards and help improve the safety of riders.

The forms are available from: BHS (tel: 01926 707 700), or the Mark Davies Injured Riders’ Fund (tel: 01483 268623).
