Horse Sport Ireland gets funding for equine training

  • Horse Sport Ireland (HSI) has received €90,000 (£74,600) government funding through Skillnet to run training courses for people working in equestrianism in 2010-11.

HSI’s training arm — the Equestrian Skillnet — already runs courses in subjects as diverse as sport horse production and computer skills.

This year’s courses, which recommence in August, will include training for unemployed people wanting to work in the horseworld and courses for equine vets.
