Great Yorkshire Show

  • Record entries have been received for this year’s Great Yorkshire Show, which takes place in Harrogate from 10-12 July.

Overall showing entries are up to more than 2,000, with records broken in five native pony sections and riding pony breeding — the latter having almost doubled from last year.

Bob Ellis takes over as show jumping course-builder for the first time, and the winner’s purse for the Ripon Select Foods Cock ’O the North class now stands at £7,000.

Spectators can also look forward to some fabulous offers on the Horse & Hound stand (no.148) at the show. Free copies of HORSE magazine will be available as well as lots of instant prizes, including Alpha dog feed, Spillers treats, Net-Tex products and more plus £500 of Harry Hall, Cottage Craft & Masta gear.

The show will be the perfect time to take out a subscription as you could save up to 35% and walk away with a Masta rug when you subscribe to either Horse & Hound, HORSE or Eventing.
