The latest Rolex World Jumping Rankings were revealed yesterday (7 April) and there’s little change at the top, with Frenchman Kevin Staut still number one.
Irish riders Billy Twomey and Denis Lynch keep their places in the top ten — they are currently ranked seventh and eighth respectively.
But British riders have slipped out of the top 40. Ben Maher is the highest ranked at number 42 (having dropped three places), with Guy Williams (43rd) and Michael Whitaker (44th) close behind.
Nick Skelton will be celebrating a meteoric leap up the leader board thanks to a successful run in Wellington, Florida when returning from injury. He has risen from 71st to 49th.
