Foster mare needed for orphan foal
A Hampshire breeder is looking for a foster mare to adopt her colt foal.
Liz Wright, of Moortown Stud in Ringwood said the foal was born three weeks prematurely 10 days ago and is now strong enough to try on a mare.
He’s a skewbald cob foal to make about 14.2hh.
She said: “We are an established stud and would offer the best care to a foster mare.
“We would also be happy to offer to get the mare back in-foal to our 15.1hh, Chaps and BSPA-graded champion homozygous traditional stallion — The Scoundrel — as a thank you.”
