Forty horses die in a barn fire in Minnesota
Forty horses died this weekend when a fire broke out at a horse ranch in Minnesota.
A barn at R & J Horse Sales in Verndale caught fire at about 6am on Sunday (21 December) morning, killing 40 horses inside.
The sales and tack area, kitchen and office were also destroyed in the fire.
Wadena County Sheriff’s office are investigating the fire but do not consider it suspicious.
