Budding photographers who love the countryside are invited to enter Countryside Alliance 2008 photography competition.
Due to popular demand the closing date for the competition was put back by a week and the closing date is now Friday 25 April.
The theme of the competition is rural Britain and Ireland, in which there are four categories — British and Irish wildlife, The British and Irish Countryside, Seasons and Rural life and country sports
The 13 winning photographs will be featured in the 2009 Countryside Alliance calendar. Winners will each get a pair of tickets to the CLA Fair for Saturday 26 July as well as ten copies of the 2009 calendar featuring their photo.
Last year’s competition attracted more than 300 entries.
