Dead horse in road causes a series of road accidents in California
A dead horse lying on a road in California caused a series of traffic accidents earlier this week.
The horse was killed when it was hit by a car on highway 74 in Good hope at about 6pm on Monday (23 November).
A passing motorist tried to use a torch to warn other drivers about the horse in the road, but several other vehicles crashed soon after the initial accident.
The body was not removed from the road until the morning after.
