CWG bought out by Mole Valley Farmers

  • Feed and tack merchants Mole Valley Farmers (MVF) has acquired fellow agricultural store CWG Countrystores Ltd.

Buying CWG (Central Wool Growers) adds 11 outlets in the midlands and east of England to Mole Valley Farmers’ nine, in the south west.

Both companies started out as farmers’ cooperatives.

Andrew Jackson, chief executive of Mole Valley Farmers said: “It is not our intenton to close any stores, on the contrary we will be looking and considering options for reinvestment in existing stores and the opportunity to acquire new premises in the future.”

The CWG stores will continue to trade under that name.
