  • Di Lampard wins first Windsor ladies’ championship

Di Lampard, four-time runner-up in the ladies’ championship at Windsor, became no longer the bridesmaid when she scored a decisive win in the seven-horse jump off.

“It was one of the smallest championship courses I’ve ever jumped,” said Di. “And the fences were very spread out, which made it hard to keep the horses’ attention.”Drawn fifth in the decider, Di judged the pace superbly and her immaculate round featured accuracy and precision.

“I’m fortunate that the horses’ owner, Robert Verburght, has his major interest in Nations Cup and grands prix, so I’m not under pressure,” said Di.
