The Best British Foal Show 2002 will include classes for show jumping, eventing and dressage foals
The 2002 Best British Foal Show has expanded to find the top British foals for show jumping, eventing and dressage.
Separate classes will be held for foals bred for each discipline during the August event at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre, Bucks, with a £7,500 prize fund. The individual foal championships will takeplace during the evening gala.
The show, which was introduced last year by Brightwells Auctioneers and is sponsored by Supporters of British Breeding and Equilibra, will also host the Summer Gala Auction which will see some of the best foals from the show going under the hammer.
“It’s vital the UK promotes the breeders who produce top class British sport horses for eventing, show jumping and dressage,” said Richard Botterill of Brightwells. “Events such as the Best British Foal Show will improve our ability to market our top horses both nationally and internationally.”
