Amerigo launches new anatomically shaped stud protector

Amerigo has launched the latest addition to its tack range — a new stud protector.

The Amerigo Stud Protector GH08 Girth has a unique anatomical shape that protects against stud injuries whilst not restricting the horse’s movement.

“It is easy to miss the small injuries that can be caused by jumping with studs in,” said a spokesman for the company. “This new guard helps avoid these injuries that can affect performance.”

The new Amerigo Stud Protector GH08 Girth comes in black, brown, oakbark and Newmarket and in sizes 120, 125, 130 and 135 cm. It costs £256.
