Actor joins fight to ban horse-drawn carriages from New York

AMERICAN actor Alec Baldwin has shown his support for the charity PETA’s (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) campaign to ban horse-drawn carriages in New York.

The actor hosted a special screening of a documentary called Blinders which details the life of the carriage horses in the city last night (19 June).
