Horse & Hound boosts its pointing coverage

  • Horse & Hound is increasing its point-to–point coverage this season.

The Weekender may be ceasing its weekly coverage, but ours will be expanding to include the results from every meeting besides reports, photographs and mini features on training insights, new riders and unsung heroes.

Jockey Jacqueline Coward will return with her comment and we are introducing a new columnist — 27-year-old Darren Edwards.

Darren, who is a chartered surveyor based in Market Harborough, Leics, regularly features in the men’s championship standings.

“I’m delighted that we are able to expand our coverage,” said H&H point-to-point editor Nicola Jane Swinney. “I know people have missed the results, so it’s great that we are able to offer this service again.”

The 2012-13 point-to-point season kicks off this Sunday (25 November), with report and results in next week’s issue (Thursday, 29 November).

This news story was first published in the current issue of H&H (22 November 2012)
