$14,500 donated to victims of California wildfires

  • Donations amounting to $14,500 have been given to an American charity to treat the victims of the wildfires that ravaged California last October.

Hundreds of horses across the state were left without shelter and winter food supplies when the fires destroyed parts of the state.

An emergency campaign resulted in money pouring in from individuals and groups from all over the US to The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) Disaster Relief Fund.

The United States Humane Society was allotted $14,500 to treat horses affected by the fires.
