Equestrian PR company The GPC has welcomed a new recruit from the racing industry.
Sarah Rippon is the newest member of the team at Gloucestershire-based PR consultancy The GPC [Grand Plan Consultancy Ltd].
Ms Rippon has a background in racing and was previously a press officer for Newmarket racecourse. She has also worked for National Hunt trainer Charlie Longsdon as assistant trainer in the north Cotswolds.
At Newmarket, as well as running the race-day press office, Ms Rippon developed the course’s websites. In her new role at The GPC she will be helping the agency develop their web presence.
Ms Rippon is The GPC’s second new recruit since Caroline Smail joined the agency in the summer. This year Caroline was nominated Woman of the Year for the voluntary work she has done to support injured soldiers through the Help for Heroes charity.
“We are thrilled to have these two extremely capable, bright and enthusiastic consultants on our team,” said The GPC founder Andrea Worrall.
“The GPC is in a very exciting phase at the moment with a number of new projects on the horizon for existing and new clients alike. Our business is all about the people; the insight and energy Caroline and Sarah bring will undoubtedly enhance the services we provide to our clients and the media alike.”
Since Ms Worrall founded The GPC in 1997 clients have included Petplan Equine, Mercedes-Benz, British Eventing and Waitrose.
