Showcase for point-to-point’s rising stars
Animal health company, Intervet , is sponsoring a new intermediate point-to-point series.
The series will include 24 races that will be held from January to April next year, culminating in a final at Cheltenham in May.
The Intervet series is designed to form a showcase for rising point-to-point stars around the country.
Deborah Baker, pharmaceutical marketing manager for Intervet, said: “This new intermediate series aims to encourage up and coming point-to-point horses to show their promise.”
Intervet will be providing a marquee and catering facilities at the following venues: North Cornwall at Wadebridge (3 February); College and North Northumberland at Alnwick (18 February); Tivyside at Pantyderi (24 February); Carmarthenshire at Erw Leon (3 March); Flint and Denbigh at Eaton Hall (10 March); Cumberland Farmers at Dalston (10 March); The Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire at Lanark (17 March); Ledbury at Maisemore Park (1 April); Ludlow at Ludlow (14 April); and Bedale at Bedale (14 April).
