Tetton Hall to run in memory of Caroline Pratt

  • This summer’s Tetton Hall horse trials (31-31 July) will be held as a memorial to Caroline Pratt (pictured), who tragically died at Burghley Horse Trials last year.

Alongside scale one prize-money, event organisers Dick and Frances Kinsey plan to award one-off training bursaries in her memory. Caroline rode for the Kinseys and ran a successful livery yard at Tetton Hall prior to the accident. She was riding their horse Primitive Streak when she fell in the water at Burghley.

Bailey’s Horse Feeds, Caroline’s long-term sponsor, has put forward a £250 training voucher and the Kinseys are appealing for further donations.

“We would like to say thank you to all who have sent messages of support and condolence since Caroline’s tragic death,” said the couple in a statement. “In the 10 years Caroline was with us we came to look on her as a daughter. We’re hoping to make Tetton Hall event one to remember as a fitting memorial to a truly remarkable person.”
