Mary King on course for success

Leading event rider Mary King has a new sponsor for her team of horses

The new sponsorship from Strongid-P covers the rising star of Mary’s Devon yard, King Richard.

The eight-year-old advanced eventer, owned by Gill Robinson, has been brought on by Mary from a four-year-old and both Gill and Mary have high hopes for “Ricky” as he is known at home.

“He is one of the nicest horses I have ever had in the yard and he has definitely got what it takes to do well at international level.” says Mary “The delay in the start to the season and then my accident put paid to some of my plans for him, but now I am back on the road, he will aim for some advanced level events.

” I’mvery grateful to Strongid-P for supporting the sport, and King Richard in particular, in this difficult season”.
