Libby Soley remains British Pony eventing champion

  • The Charles Owen National Pony Championship saw a real fairy tale result when Libby Soley repeated her win of last year with the amazing Noble Springbok.

Libby has been sidelined most of the season following a horrific fall at Brougham back in April that left her with head injuries, a broken collar-bone and collapsed lung.

Gina Ruck and Ice Cool Bailey filled the runner-up spot here. Tom McEwen produced a beautiful show jumping clear, albeit for two time-penalties, to keep third place on the Irish-bred Dick Taytoe.
