Irish eventing open day postponed

  • Eventing Ireland’s first open day to introduce riders to the sport has had to be postponed.

The Munster Open Day was due to take place at the Camphire Horse Trials venue on Saturday (11 October), the day before this year’s event.

It was to include a dressage demonstration with commentary by GB Olympic gold medallist Bridget Parker and a course walk with Mrs Parker and top Irish riders.

But due to the illness of Mrs Parker’s husband the event will now take place next season.
