Ian Olding memorial service and party to be held in Cheshire
A memorial service and celebration for Ian Olding (pictured), who was killed in a fall at Belton Horse Trials, will be held at Somerford Park, Cheshire, on Wednesday 3 June.
The service will be in the chapel from 6pm, followed by a party to celebrate Ian’s life, also at Somerford Park (7.30pm for 8pm), which is where Ian was based.
There will be a public bar, entertainment and catering and attendees will be asked for a minimum £10 contribution to costs. Any extra funds raised will be donated to the Mark Davies Injured Riders Fund.
If you wish to attend, please email either debbie@somerfordpark.co.uk or chris.shaw@britisheventing.co.uk stating the number of people in your party.
In addition, those who wish to stay overnight in their lorries may do so, but only by prior arrangement with Somerford Park as space will be limited.
Further details (including directions) will appear on the Somerford Park website (www.somerfordpark.co.uk), the British Eventing website (www.britisheventing.com) and the Eventing Ireland website (www.eventingireland.com).
