The past year saw the eventing world saying goodbye to a number of top horses, including one of the public’s favourites, King William. The 16.2 1/2 hh bay gelding with the big white blaze won the public’s heart during his outstanding 11-year career. He still holds the record for the highest ever BE points total and amassed winnings of more than £47,000 for his owner Gill Robinson.
