Having a ball with PERA

The FEI World Event Rider Ranking Awards for 2001 will be awarded at next month’s PERA Ball

Eventing enthusiasts can celebrate 2001’s successes at the Professional Event Riders Association’s (PERA) Ball at Newbury Racecourse on Saturday 23 February.

The ball, which is sponsored by French wine company, Bouvet-Ladubay, hosts the 2001 FEI World Event Rider Ranking Awards. Award winners will receive prizes from Bouvet-Ladubay, which has been a long-time sponsor of equestrian sport including the Saumur CCI***. The company is also hosting a special champagne reception prior to the Ball.

PERA Chairman Andrew Hoy, added: “Yet again the PERA Ball has the very generous support from Bouvet, and I know this party shall set the scene for everyone to flow into the 2002 season.”

Music at the ball will be provided by ‘Locomotion’. A raffle and auction will also take place during the evening.

Tickets cost £50.00 per person, which includes the champagne reception.
