Gina Ruck will lead British pony European eventing team
Newly crowned national pony champions Gina Ruck and Ice Cool Bailey (pictured) will spearhead the British effort at this summer’s pony European eventing championships at Avenches, Switzerland (24-27 July).
This combination, who were on the gold medal-winning team at last year’s championships, are joined by four pairs making their first squad appearance.
The complete Derby House-sponsored squad is:
- Althea Bleekman, 16, and Nightgirl 002
- Helen Dunning, 15, and Glenayre Bay Surf
- Ella McEwen, 14, and Catherston Nutsafe
- Gina Ruck, 15, and Ice Cool Bailey
- Eliza Stoddart, 15, and Killacoran Blue
The reserve rider is:
- Lottie Kennedy, 15, and Darraks Tonto
