Burghley Horse Trials box office opens
Tickets have gone on sale for Europe’s only 4-star event in 2001, the Burghley Pedigree Horse Trials, Stamford, Lincs. (30 August – 2 September).
Voted by competitors as the world’s mostpopular three-day event, thisyear’s Burghley may prove more attractive than ever.
Already a Mecca for shoppers who flock to the popular trade stand area, Burghley 2001 has planned an added incentive . Event director Bill Henson is running a team competition and it is expected that the medal-winning countries from the Sydney Olympics will be sending teams.
Children aged 12 and under can enjoy the event for free, while discounts of more than 33% are available on admission purchased in advance.
