Blenheim offers free cross-country buggy tours as Valentine’s Day treat
If you buy tickets for Blenheim Horse Trials (10-13 September) before this Saturday, Valentine’s Day, you can take advantage of a free cross-country buggy tour.
“My thoughts were that quite often chaps don’t know what to get their girlfriends or wives, but a visit to Blenheim as a spectator is something I used to really enjoy before I started organising the event,” said event director Mandy Hervieu.
“The cross-country buggy rides were an idea we came up with last year and people seem to like the idea of being able to go round some of the fences. Having the insider’s view from course-designer Eric Winter makes you appreciate things completely differently and is very interesting.”
Admission costs £8 per adult on Thursday and Friday of the event (10-11 September) if purchased in advance (£12 on the gate). If you book on www.blenheim-horse.co.uk before 14 February using the promotional code VALENT09 you can add one free cross-country buggy ride per adult admission for Thursday or Friday. Buggies only run on Thursday and Friday.
Buggy tours normally cost £5 when booked in advance or £6 at the event, depending on availability.
