Dressage delights at Wellington Premier League


  • Catherston Springsteen won the Wellington Premier League gala evening’s grand prix freestyle under Lizzie Murray.

    Nicola Jourdain and St Swithens, who were a close second, won the McCarthy Holden Grand Prix. Nicola also won the Tenon Intermediaire II on Paula Ring’s Sancerre II, who has been out of competition for a year.

    Carol Parsons and Giddy took the Murray Morland Grand Prix Special honours.

    Pippa Fisher (Korenbloem Pinocchio) and Clare Harwood (Alley Baba) were separated by just 1% in the prix st georges (PSG) freestyle. Pippa and Pinocchio also won the Paul Degenhardt Trophy for the top combined score in the PSG and PSG freestyle and were second in the intermediaire I.
