  • National Dressage Championship sponsors Mercedes-Benz backs display of the best of British breeding

New title sponsor for the National Dressage Championships at Stoneleigh (21-23 September), Mercedes-Benz has become closely involved with making the event into a real occasion for breeders, riders and spectators.

The company is lending its support to a display being given by the Supporters of British Breeding, which willtake place in the main arena at 12 noon on Sunday, 23 September.

The Mercedes-Benz British Breeding for Dressage Display, organised by the promotional and fund-raising arm of the British Horse Foundation, is designed to showcase the best of British breeding.

By combining a parade of the best British Dressage stallions with a display of their progeny – some of the country¨s top young dressage horses – visitors to the event will witness a presentation by 10 of the leading sport horse and warmblood studbooks in Britain.

Those visiting the Mercedes-Benz stand at the event, which will be located behind its VIP hospitality unit, can enter a free draw to win a choice of two superbly crafted dressage saddles, worth £1,000, from master saddler, Frank Baines.

This is the first year in which Mercedes-Benz has supported these championships, the jewel in the crown of British Dressage’s competition calendar.
