Simon and Laura Fry are putting international dressage on the map in Yorkshire at the Frys CDI**(6-10 August) in Driffield.
“I’ve waited six years to bring it to the Yorkshire – it’s a dream come true,” said Simon.
The fixture has boosted international competitions in Britain this year, following the cancellation of the Soley CDI in April.
The timing, just prior to the European Championships at Hickstead (13-17 August) means that members of the Australian and British teams will be having a final outing before the big event.
In all, 15 countries have been invited to compete in the CDI at the purpose-built dressage park, which will culminate with a dancing horses gala.
