This year’s Young Rider, Junior and Pony dressage teams for the European championships have been announced by British Dressage.
The Young Rider and Junior European Dressage Championships will take place at Saumur in France on 22- 27 July and the young rider team is:
- Charlotte Edmonds (Broomford Locarno)
- Maria Eilberg (Don Perry or Two Sox)
- Gemma Green (Argentille Gullit)
- Jodie Lister (Catherston Humbug or Nicky)
- Reserve: Jacqueline Siu (Najac)
The junior squad comprises:
- Laura Bechtolsheimer (Placido or Landvogt 19)
- Henry Boswell (D.H.I. Faederlite)
- Natalie Bushell (Castle Cosmos)
- Julie Swinburn (Torque O’ the Devil)
- Reserve: Jessica Bennett (Atlantic Prospect)
Jennie Loriston-Clarke and Caroline Griffith are chef d’equipes and the team trainer is Henk van Bergen.
The elite pony riders carrying Britain’s dressage hopes at the Pony European Dressage Championships at Necarne Castle in Ireland (22-27 July) are:
- Natalie Allen (D.H.I. Langar)
- Lorna Edmonds (Manitu N)
- Amber de Savary (Carnegie Sinalco)
- Georgina Somerset (Bjirmen’s Wytse)
Reserve: Zo‰ Sleigh (Zion II)
The chef d’equipe will be Islay Auty and Ian Woodhead is the team trainer.
