Hundreds of show animals battled for championship titles at the Royal International Horse Show (RIHS) (26-31 July). Here are some of those winners you may not seen yet
Dartans Barrack
For the second year running, Dartans Barrack topped the heavyweight workers with Fiona Hirst and then stood reserve supreme working hunter.
Kilderry Rupert
This lightweight-winning nine-year-old successfully defended the supreme working hunter title he won here in 2015, once again with Katrina Braithwaite in the saddle. The duo has already qualified for RIHS in 2017.
Slieve Bloom Jill
Hannah Horton and this lovely grey stood BSPS Heritage mountain & moorland (M&M) supreme ridden champions, after winning their New Forest/Connemara class for owner Lady Sue Huntington.
Classic Chauvinist
After heading the small hacks, Annie Horn’s home-bred was crowned supreme hack, partnered by Edward Young.
Makers Jar Of Hearts
After standing coloured ridden horse champion, piloted by Wayne Thorneycroft, this lovely horse belonging to Jane Turnbull stood reserve supreme.
Beech Hall Ryan
Zara Weir steered this pony to victory in the 143cm working hunter class and the championship. Zara also won the 153cm equivalent on Otto, and drafted in her older sister Philippa to ride him in the championship, where they stood reserve.
Diamonds Are Forever
Oliver Hood took over the reins on Annabel Jenks’ riding horse champion for Sunday’s supreme, but Allister Hood rode the gelding to victory in the large class and championship.
Carrwood Shimmering Gold
Lucy Glover steered this pony to victory in the BSPS Heritage M&M open ridden section A & B championship.
Colebourne
Owned by Rosettes Direct, this grey headed the maxi cob championship with Robert Walker.
Tambrook My Destiny
Lucinda Farmbrough’s eight-year-old stood supreme coloured ridden champion after topping the large ridden pony line up.
Golden Tasset
Crowned supreme ridden pony on the final day, Olivia Bowen’s lovely chestnut successfully defended their intermediate title earlier in the week after heading the show hunter division.
Kavanagh’s Imperial Assal
This grey took the best pure-bred arab accolade for owner/rider Laura Rowe, which earned the six-year-old son of AA Assal a place in the supreme championship.
Grugaur Skylark
This dun headed the young rider M&M championship for owner Sam Duncan’s daughter Pippa. Produced by Terri Guyett, Grugaur Skylark topped her small breeds class en route to the championship.
Hello Dolly
Of course Jayne Ross took the hunter tricolour aboard Time 2 Reflect before successfully defending their supreme ridden horse title, but there was further success for Jayne when Hello Dolly won the ladies’ hunter title for the second year running. Dolly also headed the small hunters for the third time. Both mares are owned by Dianne Stennett.
Litton Enterprise
Joanne Price’s bay carried Phoebe Price to BSPS show pony honours after winning the 148cm class.
Milton Pageboy
Zara Brookes was in the driving seat of this smart grey, who claimed the BSPS show pony 128cm title.
Newoak Jester
Kate Hewson was all smiles after securing her first Hickstead win, taking the mini heritage M&M Pretty Polly tricolour.
Wolferlow Esperanto
Josephine Ready is enjoying a spectacular first season with this eight-year-old, who headed his 153cm class before securing the show hunter pony title.
Pumphill Buckthorn
Sue Hughes’ Dartmoor stallion topped his 122cm M&M working hunter pony championship, ridden by Sarah Parker.

Seamoor Lady Derby
Led by Oliver Burchell and ridden by Poppy Steadman, this five-year-old mare collected the mini show pony tricolour after winning her lead-rein class for owner Mandy Burchell Small.
Townend Schubert
The reigning Heritage supreme champion at Olympia topped his BSPS Heritage M&M open ridden Fells/Dales/Highlands class with H&H columnist Rebecca Penny.
