  • Your chance to take part in Geoff Billington and Friends Tour, courtesy of Horse & Hound magazine

Horse & Hound magazine readers are being offered the chance to enjoy expert helpwith their competition horse problems during the “Geoff Billington and Friends Tour” in late January.

Three lucky winners, one for each venue, will be chosen to take part at Towerlands, Essex, on 22 January, Addington, Bucks, on 23 Januaryand Birchinley Manor, Lancs, on 29 January.

Winners will be invited to take their horse to the demonstration, and the experts will offer practical advice and help with any problems, including riding your horse if you wish.

Each evening also includes a demonstration of flatwork and jumping from Geoff Billington and Robert Whitaker, a fashion show, a girls versus boys show jumping challenge, a dressage display, dog agility and Geoff’s famous impersonations of top riders.

The undoubted star of the night will be It’s Otto, officially retired at Olympia last month, and making a special appearance on the tour, which is sponsored by Badminton Horse Feeds and Eqvalan.

The organisers promise some extra guests on the night, and current British number one Michael Whitaker is already lined up for the Birchinley Manor evening.

Tickets are available from each centre in advance at £20 each, or book by credit card through the ticket hotline (tel: 02476 696721) at £18, plus a £2 booking fee per ticket. A limited number will be for sale on the night at £22 each.
