Success for BHS Instructors

  • The British Horse Society has announced that the following people have all successfully completed the British Horse Society Instructor’s examination.

They are: Julia Gourley (Aberdeen), Michael Paveley (Essex), Caroline Meads (Sandy, Beds), Penelope Cruttwell (Street, Somerset), William Miflin (Cirencester, Glos) and Ignacio Romero (Madrid, Spain).
    >
The Instructor’s exam is the highest examination that can be taken before the Fellowship examination. It requires sound experience and knowledge in all aspects of horse care and management, the ability to communicate and transmit information successfully to others and the ability to ride, teach and lunge to a very high standard.
    >
To become eligible for the title of BHS Instructor, the candidates would have had to complete the BHS Stable Manager’s Exam (BHSSM) and also the Equitation and Teaching Exam.
