Show jumper sire Eurocommerce Berlin visits Scotland

  • Gold-medal-winning show jumping stallion Eurocommerce Berlin, formerly ridden by Gerco Schroeder, will be a special guest at the BSJA Premier Adult Show at Rowallan Activity Centre in Ayrshire this weekend.

The 15-year-old KWPN stallion, who recently retired from competition, won team gold for Germany at the 2006 World Equestrian Games in Aachen.

Tom Smith, whose Lambridden Stud in Dalry offers Berlin’s semen for AI said: “We heard he was being retired so asked, tongue in cheek, if there was any chance of him coming over to the UK so people could see him.

“To our delight Eurocommerce agreed and he will be paraded at the show on Saturday night.”
