Plumpton College students celebrates


  • First group of students celebrate passing BSc course in Biological Science (equine option) at Plumpton College

    Plumpton College student Amelia Raley, 21, celebrated the end of a successful year when she was awarded a 2:1 pass for her BSc in BiologicalScience (equine option).

    Amelia has already achieved success at the Horse of the Year Show, winning the Intermediate Show Riding Type class and being judged asreserve champion for the chow on Crofts Helios, a 15.2hh, seven-year-old darkbay gelding, owned by P.B.B. & C. Willett.

    Amelia has also won a number of other trophies including classes at the Royal International Horse show at Hickstead, South of England Championship, Ardingly Spring Show, Royal County of Berkshire, Peterborough and Lincolnshire shows.

    Amelia was part of the first group of students to take the BScBiological Science (equine option) course, which is run jointly by PlumptonCollege and Brighton University. The college reports that all the students who went through the course came out with exceptional results.
