Nominate grooms for trip of a lifetime
Time is running out for individuals to nominate hardworking grooms for the coveted Kuster BEF Groom award.
Entries must be in by 25 November for your groom to have a chance of winning a luxury five-night trip to Washington DC, plus two nights in the five star London Grange City Hotel, or runners-up prizes of weekend London shopping trips.
Frank Kuster of Grange Hotels sponsors the award and says: “Grooms are often the unsung heroes of the equestrian world and I want to recognise and reward their invaluable work.”
The competition is open to all grooms, whether from a local riding school or Olympic competitor’s yard. Repeat nominations from last year’s award are encouraged. A groom can be nominated by anyone, including him or herself.
Nomination forms are available from www.bef.co.uk and should include the following details:
- Why you believe the nominee deserves the award
- An example of how the nominee has displayed the attributes required to win
- Contact details of the nominee
- Which category they are being entered for: Dressage, Show Jumping, Eventing, Driving, Livery Yards and Riding Schools, or ‘other equestrian disciplines’
