Zara Phillips
Eventing’s latest Royal ambassador Zara Phillips, 24, has had an incredible year with her chesnut gelding Toytown. Zara claimed two gold medals at the European Eventing Championships, winning the individual title and helping Britain clinch a sixth consecutive team win.
Her brilliant form has been recognised throughout the sporting world as she beat off stiff competition to pick up the Sunday Times Sportswoman of the Year Award. She was also nominated for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
