Tosca carries two dilution genes so all his foals will inherit one from him resulting in only palomino, buckskin (dun) or smoky black offspring from solid coloured mares.
Tosca’s sire, Crown’s Choice, owned by the Crown Stud in Denmark attained Elite stallion status with the Danish Palomino Society for his outstanding achievements as a sire. He also has the highest jumping index of all palomino warmbloods in Europe.
Tosca’s dam, Stargold’s Athena, graded into the main mare book 1, was also highly prized for her outstanding type, beauty, movement and colour.
Tosca has a super temperament, correct paces and a huge jump! He should suit a variety of mares and will add refinement through the strong influence of his arab and thoroughbred ancestry. At 15.2 hands Tosca will be of interest to horse and pony mare owners alike.
