Brian Nunez purchased this stallion on January 2003 after being attracted by his jumping ability. After being brought back into work slowly, On A High has proven himself as an athletic, bold, forward-going show jumper, with the ability to jump against the clock. He is admired at every show he goes for his temperament and ability and is now a very keen competition stallion.
He made his eventing debut in 2004, competing up to one-star level with positive results through out the season to prove himself as a good allrounder. His good nature allows him to combine the demands of competition with those of stud duties. In 2005 On A High had time of due to an injury and he is now fit and ready for the forthcoming season.
Some of his achievements in 2004:
- 1st at Goring Heath pre-novice, winning on his dressage score
- 6th at Great Witchingham novice two-day, one of only two S.J clear rounds
- 11th at Portman, his first novice and second ever event
- 11th at Stonar (novice)
At the Breed Show 2004:
- 1st in the novice dressage and combined training
- 3rd in combined training with prelim dressage
- 6th in the ID performance seven-years-and-over and best placed Stallion
- His son Dosley Hopes are High was reserve champion in the male youngstock class
