FMD crisis: disinfectant bath

With the FMD crisis affecting all horse owners and stableyards, Portequip hasintroduced a low-cost disinfectant bath to cover all vehicles from light cars to 44 Tonne articulated lorries.

The footbath/wheel-wash comes complete with internal foam, to help disperse disinfectant over wheels evenly, and is supplied in two parts for ease of movement.

Phil Currie of Portequip says: “As part of the agricultural community in Dumfries &Galloway, we find not only our customers livelihoods under threat, but our own. We have designed the above product with the primary intention of curtailing this terrible disease.”
