Free entry to lectures with a top US equine nutritionist for H&H NAGS Club members
Top American equine nutritionist Dr Bill Vandergrift is delivering a series of lectures at collegesaround the UK during October.
Bill has a Ph.D. in animal nutrition from Texas A&M University and has taught equine nutrition at the University of Georgia. He has also been a director of equine nutrition for a number of regional and national feed companies in America.
Over the past ten years, Bill has worked with top breeders, trainers and riders in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East including members of the United States Equestrian Team,Canadian Equestrian Team and German Dressage Federation.
Open to all, with free places for students and Horse & Hound NAGS Club members, the lectures will cover the principles of good feeding, plus the latest developments in equine nutrition. The tour is sponsored by Blue Chip Feeds.
The events are taking place on:
- 21 October (am) – Hartpury College
- 21 October (pm) – Warwickshire College
- 22 October (am) – Bishop Burton College
- 23 October (am) – Writtle College
Each event will include a question and answer session where horse owners can gain expert advice on their own feed-related problems.

Dr Bill Vandergrift will also be speaking to an invited audience of racehorse trainers andThoroughbred breeders at the Jockey Club Rooms in Newmarket on 24 October.
Tickets for non-students cost £5 per person and will be sold on a first come, first served basis. All tickets will be redeemed for £5 Blue Chip vouchers on the door.
