This year’s Equine Event boasts an impressive array of equestrian stars, advice forums and unbeatable shopping opportunities
Many of the top equestrian stars will be attending this year’s British Equine Event, which takes place from 2 – 3 November at Stoneleigh Park, Warwicks.
Among the top names will be British dressage team trainer and former Olympic rider Conrad Schumacher, who will present a dressage masterclass throughout the weekend.
Husband and wife event team Vere and Clea Phillipps will be demonstrating their skills, while international show jumper Andy Austin will explain his riding and coaching techniques.
There will be also a series of business seminars offering advice on starting a business, sponsorship, breeding strategies and the future of equestrian shopping.
Richard Lane of Wright Hassell & Co, solicitors to the BEF (British Equestrian Federation) will present a forum on the importance of horse dealing and avoiding potential pitfalls when buying a horse.
The weekend also includes seminars on horse health and nutrition in particular respiratory and skin conditions presented by Andy Durham from Liphook Equine Hospital.
Dodson & Horrell’s nutritionist Teresa Hollands will be talking about the scientific advances made in equine feeding and looking at how feed is linked with behaviour.
The Equine Event offers a shopper’s paradise with a huge range of trade stands offering everything equestrian from a tail bandage to a new outdoor school.
