The ILPH’s anniversary ball in November will celebrate the charity’s work over the past 75 years
The International League for the Protection of Horses (ILPH) will be celebrating its 75th anniversary in style at the Equine Jubilee Celebration Ball on Friday 22 November at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane, London.
Comedian Rory Bremner is the guest speaker with entertainment from Dillie Keane, while the charity auction will be presided over by Clive Stewart-Lockhart of the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow.
Items up for grabs include a safari for two in Botswana, an exclusive ILPH Bob the Cob rocking horse by the Stevenson Brothers and an “In the Saddle” riding holiday for two in Portugal.
“We couldn’t let our 75th Anniversary pass without marking the occasion in some special way,” says Roly Owers of the ILPH. “We want the ball to be an opportunity to celebrate the horse and the work of the ILPH since its foundation in 1927. We would love to see our supporters come along and celebrate with us.”
Tickets cost £75 per person or £675 for a table of 10, which includes a champagne reception, four-course dinner with wine and dancing to the 29 Fingers Band and William Bartholomew Discotheque.
