    • Lucy Cartwright, 19, clinched the Hortech Young Rider title with Spencer Wilton’s 2005 small tour ride Goldwing at the Sheepgate BYRDS (British Young Riders Dressage Scheme) Under-25 Championships (14-18 August).

    Keri Bates, 17, won the London Outpost Junior Championship with her Hanoverian mare Donna Parrina.

    Emily Harris, 16, and her pony European team bronze medallist Don Joshi were popular winners of the British Dressage Supporters Club Pony Championship.

    The Baille Haylage Prelim Championship went to 13-year-old Claire Gallimore and her Dutch-bred Leonties Double, who also took the pony Derby title.

    Samantha Thurman Baker, 14, won the junior Derby, while the young rider equivalent went to Rachel Black, 24, for the second year running.
