A Cheltenham hotel has a launched a package which gives racing fans the opportunity to do just that.

The Montpellier Chapter is offering guests the chance to glimpse into the life of trainer Kim Bailey with an early morning trip to his stables.

On the hour and a half visit you can watch Kim training his horses at Thorndale Farm near Andoversford, get a private tour of the estate and ask Kim about his career.

Guests will then return to the hotel for breakfast.

“The Kim Bailey experience launched this month and with so many racing fans visiting Cheltenham and staying at the hotel, we are confident this new break will be very popular,” said Montpellier Chapter’s Barry Watson.

Kim Bailey has trained nearly 1,000 winners including the Grand National, Champion Hurdle, and Cheltenham Gold Cup.

The package is available all year except July and August.

Rates start from £199 based on two people sharing.
