Isleham 2007 one-day event


  • Piggy French won Isleham’s open intermediate for the second year running, this time riding Boherdeel Champion. First Frost, ridden by Lisa Maynard, and ODT Iron Brew, ably piloted by Oli Townend, leapfrogged up the order with the two quickest double clears to take second and third respectively.

    Oli Townend won the intermediate section on Waterview with the fastest cross-coutry round in the section, finishing on 47.2pen. Second-fastest and overall was Fiona Jonason on Zinzan Tiger. Emily Gilruth finished a close third with Ashdale Cruise Master and fifth on CS President.

    The open novice was won by Victoria Adderley riding Malibu Beach. The two novice sections went to Barry Meningen (News For You) and Lottie Kennedy (Darraks Tonto).

    Emilie Chandler triumphed in both pre-novice section A (Steptoe) and the open pre-novice (Give It A Whirl), while the remaining pre-novice sections went to Sarah Stretton riding Lismon Difference and Jo Chipperfield with On Your Marks II. Sam Penn (Pokeys Bally Milo), Jess Butler (It’s OK) and Georgie Bell (Norton Renee) were all intro winners.
