Welcome to H&H LiveHorse & Hound’s live and interactive written commentary service – as we prepare for the third day of the dressage competition at the Rio Olympic Games. The grand prix special action is due to get underway at 2pm UK time on Friday 12 August, so make sure you’re logged on so you don’t miss a moment. You can register below to receive an email reminder if you’d like to do so.

Successful British dressage rider and trainer Richard Barrett will be on hand to share his expert insight on each rider’s grand prix special performance on 12 August, supported by H&H’s website editor and eventing enthusiast Carol Phillips. The grand prix and the grand prix special performances are combined to decide the team medals at the Olympics.
